Albany Avenue music teacher Tyler Smalling recently won an award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play presented by BroadwayWorld’s Regional Awards for his role in a black box production, “The Scarecrow and Mrs. Gale,” which he participated in at a Lindenhurst theater called South Shore Theatre Experience.

In addition to his role at Albany Avenue, Mr. Smalling also assists in various other performing arts events throughout the district, including directing the recent Lindenhurst High School musical.
