On March 25, members of the DECA Business Club and Business Marketing students had an exciting opportunity to attend Sports Business Day at UBS Arena!

Students got a behind-the-scenes look at how business, marketing, and professional sports all come together. Staff from the New York Islanders shared insights into what it takes to run a major sports franchise, and how thoughtful marketing plays a big role in both success and community connection.

Throughout the day, students learned about topics like using data to make decisions, bringing sponsorships to life, and building a strong, loyal fan base. Most importantly, the experience helped students start to picture the many career possibilities within the world of sports business.

It was a fun and inspiring day for all involved!
