West Gates Elementary School wins the Summer Reading Challenge trophy for the second year in a row!

TWO YEARS IN A ROW! Students at West Gates Elementary, along with Principal Donna Smawley, some of her staff, and representatives from the Lindenhurst Memorial Library @lindenhurst_library Lindenhurst Memorial Library posed with the Summer Reading Program trophy. West Gates, (for the second consecutive year!) had the highest percentage of students registered for the 2025 Color Our World Summer Reading Program among the 6 elementary schools. Harding came in a close 2nd place, and William Rall came in 3rd place. Congratulations to all! We are already looking forward to next year's dinosaur-themed challenge Unearth a Story.
