Several Lindenhurst Middle School students recently were honored at the monthly Breakfast for Champions celebration, coordinated by teacher Kathy Curran.

Hosted by the Lindenhurst Public Library, the breakfast, now a tradition for more than 25 years, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and recognized publicly with certificates of merit in front of proud parents, teachers, administrators and peers.

The students recognized at the February Breakfast for Champions were Payten Albrecht, Rosangel Camacho, Priscila El Kareh Garcia, Alani Mancia, Emily Mitchell, Isla O’Toole, Victoria Park, Giuliana Pepe, Bayley Phelan, Andy Pinargote Gomez, Erianny Rodriguez, Robert Russo, Patrick Sarnicola and Cirino Sesto III.
