At the March 1 meeting of the Lindenhurst Union Free School District
Board of Education, the Board honored Coordinator of Instructional
Technology and Library Media Specialists Jennifer Freedman for being
named the 2022-2023 Administrator of the Year by the Western Suffolk
BOCES School Library System Council.
This award is presented to
an administrator who has demonstrated a commitment to the growth of
school libraries by actively promoting school libraries, providing
support for library programs and creating an environment that encourages
staff and students to use libraries. Mrs. Freedman will be honored at
the School Library System’s 8th Leadership and Information Symposium on
May 11 at the Western Suffolk BOCES Conference Center.
