Several Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored this January at the Breakfast for Champions celebration, coordinated by teacher Kathy Curran.

Hosted by the Lindenhurst Public Library, the breakfast, now a tradition for more than 25 years, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and recognized publicly with certificates of merit in front of proud parents, teachers, administrators and peers.

The students recognized at the January Breakfast for Champions were Aubree Aleszczyk-Bregy, Jason Ciero, Michael Hayden, Isabelle Maher, Frank Martin IV, Micaelyn McNeilly, Catherine Ogilvie, Daria Tetlak, Zachary Wettan, Rory White and Annette Wszeborowski.
