A group of Lindenhurst Middle School students, as a part of their social skills program led by the Social Work Dept., recently had the incredible opportunity to explore the workings of our local fire department. The visit included an engaging tour of the firehouse, where students had the chance to get up close and personal with the trucks and even try on some firefighting gear. The experience left our students feeling inspired and grateful for the warm welcome extended by the Lindenhurst Fire Department.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Lindenhurst Fire Department for their hospitality and for igniting a spark of curiosity and inspiration in our students. These types of community connections contribute significantly to our students' educational journey, providing them with real-world insights and fostering a sense of appreciation for the valuable services our local heroes provide.

Thank you to our local firefighters for their dedication and for being such wonderful hosts! And special thanks to Michael Degregorio, from our Security Dept. for arranging this experience for us!
