The Cohen Children’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center provides timely access to pediatric mental health services for children and adolescents (age 5-17) presenting in a mental health crisis. The program is designed as an alternative treatment setting urgent (same day) intervention but does not necessarily require the services of the emergency room.

Provides urgent evaluations and treatment to assist children and adolescents (ages 5-17) and their families experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Crisis psychotherapy, evidence-based screening/risk assessments, coordination of care, short-term crisis treatment, referral and linkage to follow-up care, accessing higher level of care as needed.
